Therapeutic Hypnosis

Associative Hypnosis
(Humanistic)

Developed by Olivier Lockert, Humanistic Hypnosis is a non-dissociative approach. Instead of "diving" into the unconscious, consciousness expands.

  • The Principle: You do not "sleep"; on the contrary, you are often more awake and aware than usual.

  • The Experience: You act with full lucidity on your inner wounds through symbols and intuition.

  • Who is it for? Those who seek deep understanding and conscious action regarding their psyche.

Dissociative Hypnosis
(Ericksonian)

Stemming from the work of Milton H. Erickson, this classic form relies on a light and natural dissociation between the conscious and unconscious mind.

  • The Principle: The conscious mind quiets down to allow the unconscious to mobilize its own solutions.

  • The Experience: The use of indirect suggestions, metaphors, and symbolic imagery in a state of deep concentration.

  • Who is it for? Ideal for bypassing mental resistance and accessing buried emotions.

Humanistic & Ericksonian

As a hypnotherapist in Luxembourg, I use therapeutic hypnosis to support adults, adolescents, and children toward lasting change.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a modified state of consciousness that we all experience naturally every day: when we are absorbed in a book, driving on "autopilot," or simply daydreaming.

In a therapeutic session, this state is used in a structured and secure way to:

  • release emotional blockages

  • relieve anxiety and stress

  • soothe psychological distress

  • transformunconscious patterns

  • access internal resources that are often underestimated

⚠️ Did you know?

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis does not allow someone to "take control" over you. You remain the active participant in your own transformation.

Two Complementary Approaches

How a Hypnosis Session Unfolds

Whether at my practice in Luxembourg or via videoconference, each session takes place in a confidential and supportive setting, structured into three phases:

1. The Anamnesis: Defining Your Goal

We begin with an essential period of dialogue to understand your situation, clarify your blockages, and define a precise and realistic therapeutic goal together.

2. Induction: The Therapeutic Work

Guided by my voice, you enter a modified state of consciousness (either associative or dissociative). In this state, the "inner critic" steps aside, making room for work on emotions, memories, and internal resources.

3. Integration: Returning to Wakefulness

The exit from the hypnotic state is gradual and pleasant. We take a moment to discuss your feelings and establish concrete benchmarks for the next steps of your journey.
